Sciota Township, Michigan

The township mostly surrounds the city of Laingsburg, but the two are administered autonomously.

[3] The Looking Glass River flows through the southern portion of the township.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 1,801 people, 625 households, and 513 families residing in the township.

There were 633 housing units at an average density of 23.7 per square mile (9.2/km2).

13.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
