Scott Duvall

Scott Duvall is a retired Canadian politician who served as the member of Parliament for Hamilton Mountain from 2015 until 2021.

Prior to being elected to Hamilton City Council, Duvall was a steelworker and a labour union president.

Duvall, then the president of United Steelworkers Local 5338, was one of the highest profile candidates to replace Kelly.

[4] The campaign was contentious, and featured a Cable 14 debate which local media called "a raucous showdown" during which the candidates "accused each other of various indiscretions or misleading the voters.

This bill was largely in response to the underfunding of pension plans in the Bankruptcy proceedings of prominent Canadian companies Nortel and Sears Canada.
