Seán O'Mahony's GFC is a Gaelic football club based in Dundalk, County Louth.
[1][2][3] The club was founded in 1938 and named after the Irish republican Seán O'Mahony.
[6] In 2015 the club reached the final of the Louth Senior Football Championship for the first time[7] and won it in 2016 by defeating St Mary's of Ardee.
[8] O'Mahony's then advanced to the 2016–17 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship, defeating Baltinglass[9] and Newbridge Sarsfields[10] before losing 0–12 to 1–05 in the Leinster semi-final against Rhode at the Gaelic Grounds.
[11] Several players are members of the 27 Infantry Battalion, based at nearby Aiken Barracks.
