Seaton Delaval Stakes

It was run at Newcastle, and in its later years it was scheduled to take place in August.

The event was named after Seaton Delaval, a village located to the north of Newcastle.

It was established in 1867, and was originally held in late June.

The Seaton Delaval Stakes continued to be staged in June until 1961.
