Sebastián Hofmann (born 1981) is a Mexican visual artist and filmmaker whose productions have been presented in the film festivals of Cannes, Rotterdam, Locarno, Sundance,[1] San Sebastian, among others.

His work as a visual artist has been presented in galleries and museums in New York, Sidney, Rio de Janeiro, Athens, Berlin, Santiago, Pasadena, Mexico City and Prague.

In 2011, Hofmann and Julio Chavezmontes founded Piano in Mexico City as a creative studio for developing original and challenging artistic projects.

The cast includes Luis Gerardo Méndez, Miguel Rodarte, Cassandra Ciangherottti and R.J. Mitte, of the popular TV Breaking Bad.

Hofmann is also the creator and star of Los Micro Burgueses, an independent absurd comedy web series of social critic, presented at the IFFR in 2012.
