Şefik Birkiye (born 1954) is a Turkish-Belgian architect who has designed buildings in Brussels, France, Switzerland, Monaco, the United States, and Turkiye.
At the age of 17, he moved to Brussels in order to pursue his academic interests.
In 1981, he then went to study at University of Louvain where he obtained a master's degree in urban planning.
[2] In 1979, Birkiye founded Vizzion Architects, a team with several high-profile projects in Brussels.
After many years of success and growing reputation in the industry, Birkiye founded the umbrella company Vizzion Europe in order to expand internationally.
