Seguenzia is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Seguenziidae.
[2] This genus was named after Giuseppe Seguenza (1833–1889), the palaeontologist at Messina, Italy.
It is translucent, the outer layer very slight, somewhat nacreous in fresh specimens.
The upper part of the body whorl is deeply and widely grooved.
The thin operculum is oval, with a subcentral nucleus and with obsolete, numerous concentric lines.
