Upon their promotion to the Israeli Premier League for the 2019–20 and 2022–23 seasons, the club moved its home matches to the HaMoshava Stadium in Petah Tikva.

In the 1998–99 season the club finished second from bottom and had four points deducted for breaking budget rules.

In the 2004–05 season, Liga Bet club from Ness Ziona, Maccabi Ben Zvi, became Ironi Ness Ziona[5] or Maccabi Ben Zvi\Ironi, as recognized by the Israel Football Association.
