Selemdzhinsky District

Selemdzhinsky District (Russian: Селемджи́нский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty in Amur Oblast, Russia.

The area of the district is 46,672 square kilometers (18,020 sq mi).

[3] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Ekimchan.

[9] The population of Ekimchan accounts for 10.4% of the district's total population.

River Selemdzha and its tributaries Ulma, Byssa and Nora flow across the district.
