The club produce one of the most prominent local player Yazid Yasin which earn 1 cap from the Singapore national football team.

During the 2001 S.League season, the Stallions relied on Thailand players which they filled in all their 5 foreign player slots to sign, Thawatchai Ongtrakul, Bamrung Boonprom, Totchtawan Sripan, Niweat Siriwong and Teerasak Po-on.

Sembawang Rangers played most of its home games at the Yishun Stadium till its dissolvement in 2003.

During its time, they represent the Northeastern corner of the North Region of Singapore.
