Senath /ˈsiːnəθ/ (SEE-nəth) is a city in Dunklin County, Missouri, United States.
[4] It is named after an early settler, Asenath Douglass, who was commonly called Senath and in whose family her Bible-derived name Asenath was pronounced with a long "e" and with stress on the second syllable.
[3] The city lies in the southwestern Bootheel approximately nine miles southwest of Kennett along U.S. Route 412.
Senath is served by Missouri supplemental routes A, C and P.[8] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.92 square miles (4.97 km2), all land.
