Sepsina bayonii, also known commonly as Bayon's skink, is a species of lizard in the family Scincidae.
[3] The specific name, bayonii, is in honor of Francisco Antonio Pinheiro Bayão, a Portuguese planter in Angola, who collected the holotype.
[3] The preferred natural habitat of S. bayonii is savanna, at altitudes from sea level to 500 m (1,600 ft).
Each back leg is very small, tapering, and ends in a claw.
[2] S. bayonii burrows in leaf litter and loose sandy soil.
