The band is still going strong today garnering a Top 25 on the mainstream Billboard Charts with their song “Halos,” which was written in honor of lost loved ones.
Released March 15th 2024, their latest album Fractured Paradise was a huge success and broke all of their previous streaming records.
The band is slated to drop a Deluxe Edition of that album entitled Fractured Paradise: Garden of Shadows, which is rumored to have some big surprises regarding features.
In 2024, Seventh Day Slumber was chosen to fill the rock slot on the world’s largest Christian tour, Winter Jam, playing over 40 cites to almost half a million people.
[2] Joseph Rojas and Bernie Dufrene formed Seventh Day Slumber in the summer of 1996 at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, where they met, wrote, and raised money for their first four-song demo project.
Seventh Day Slumber released Once Upon a Shattered Life in 2005 which spanned their hit singles "Caroline" and "Oceans from the Rain".
[11] After a period of touring, Joseph Rojas announced in a broadcast on October 30, 2018, the release of Closer to Chaos on May 31, 2019, and its guesting songwriters, including Josiah Prince of Disciple and Kellen McGregor of Memphis May Fire.
