"Shade" is a song by Australian alternative rock band Silverchair, released on 29 May 1995 as the fourth single from their debut album, Frogstomp (1995).

It was the only single to not be included on Silverchair's compilation album The Best Of: Volume 1, released on 13 November 2000.

In June 2015, Soundscape Magazine writer Colm Browne wrote that the song has a "terrific sound that is extremely pleasing to listen to.
