Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and a former Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Lakshmipur-3 constituency.

[1] Anee was elected to parliament from Laxmipur-3 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 2001 and 2008.

[4] In August 2008, Anee was jailed after he had surrendered on charges for extorting Tk 25 lakh from a construction firm in 2005.

[6] In January 2016, Anee was sent to jail after two Dhaka courts denied him bail in nine violence cases.

[7] In January 2019, Anee got a bail in a case filed over a clash during the national elections campaign.
