Shahu Rural District (Persian: دهستان شاهو)[3] is in the Central District of Kamyaran County, Kurdistan province, Iran.

[5] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 8,935 in 2,082 households.

[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 5,959 in 1,696 households.

The most populous of its 18 villages was Alk, with 1,303 people.
