Shalah Kosh (Persian: شله كش)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Qaleh Rural District of Zagros District, Chardavol County,[b] Ilam province, Iran.

[5] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 965 in 172 households, when it was in Bijnavand Rural District of the Central District.

[6] The following census in 2011 counted 958 people in 240 households.
