Shalamzar (Persian: شلمزار)[a] is a city in the Central District of Kiar County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.
[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Kiar-e Gharbi Rural District.
[7] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 7,003 in 1,671 households,[8] when it was capital of the former Kiar District of Shahrekord County.
