Shanagolden is a town in Ashland County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.

The racial makeup of the town was 98.67% White and 1.33% Native American.

22.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

There were 3.7% of families and 4.0% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 17.1% of those over 64.
