Shane John Kelly OAM (born 7 January 1972) is a former professional Australian track racing cyclist.

Kelly announced his retirement from international competition at the end of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.

[3] Kelly is now working in motivational speaking, team building, and cycling fitness and training programs.

Going into the kilo event, he was the world record holder and strong favourite.

He also competed at the Commonwealth Games, winning gold in the 1000 m time trial in 1994 and 1998.
