Shannon Hills, Arkansas

Shannon Hills is a city in Saline County, Arkansas, United States.

The area that would become Shannon Hills remained undeveloped until circa 1960, when housing development started.

In 1977, residents voted to incorporate in part to avoid annexation into Little Rock.

[3] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.5 square miles (3.9 km2), all land.

Mayor Mike Kemp has been in office since 2010,[5] following the resignation of Lawrence Davis, who served for about 10 years until he pled guilty to not filing his taxes from the 1996-2009.

[6] As of the 2020 United States census, there were 4,490 people, 1,200 households, and 880 families residing in the city.
