Vesawkar first represented Nepal at Under-15 level, playing in the Under-15 Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates in December 2002.
Later in the year, he played in the Youth Asia Cup in Karachi[5] and won the man of the match award in the final against Malaysia Under-19s.
