Sharifabad (Persian: شريف اباد)[a] is a city in Mohammadiyeh District of Alborz County, Qazvin province, Iran, serving as the administrative center for Sharifabad Rural District.

[5] The following census in 2011 counted 21,009 people in 6,112 households,[6] by which time the village had been elevated to the status of a city and renamed Sharifiyeh.

[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 20,347 people in 6,074 households.
