Shaun Leo Leane (born 20 August 1963 in Oakleigh, Victoria)[1] is a Labor Party politician and a current member for the Eastern Metropolitan Region in the Victorian Legislative Council, having been first elected in 2006.
[1] In December 2018, he was elected as the President of the Victorian Legislative Council.
[3] In December 2022, after the 2022 state election, Leane was removed from the upcoming cabinet by the caucus.
[4] In compensation, Leane would be nominated as the President of the Legislative Council in the upcoming parliament.
