Sherman, New York

Sherman is a town in Chautauqua County, New York, United States.

The source of the town's name is Roger Sherman, a signer of the Declaration of Independence.

[3] The Southern Tier Expressway (Interstate 86 and New York State Highway 17) passes across the north part of the town.
