Sherwyn Thorson

Sherwyn Arthur Thorson (May 10, 1940 – April 6, 2016) was a Canadian football player who played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and won the Grey Cup with them in 1962.

[2] Thorson played college football and wrestled at heavyweight with the University of Iowa, placing 2nd in 1960 and 1st in 1962.

[clarification needed] He was inducted into the Iowa Wrestling Hall of Fame (2007) and University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame (2011).
