Shimomatsu Station

Shimomatsu Station (下松駅, Shimomatsu-eki) is a passenger railway station in located in the city of Kishiwada, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West).

Shimomatsu Station is served by the Hanwa Line, and is located 25.1 kilometres (15.6 miles) from the northern terminus of the line at Tennōji.

The station consists of two opposed side platforms connected to the station building by a level crossing.

With the privatization of the Japan National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the aegis of the West Japan Railway Company.
