Shinpei Matsushita

Shinpei Matsushita (松下 新平, Matsushita Shinpei, born August 18, 1966) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, and a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature).

Prior to gaining elected office, he worked at the government of Miyazaki Prefecture from April 1991 to December 1996.

Matsushita served in the Miyazaki Prefecture assembly from 1999 to 2003.

Matsushita has held positions as[1] He was a supporter of right-wing filmmaker Satoru Mizushima's 2007 revisionist film The Truth about Nanjing, which denied that the Nanjing Massacre ever occurred.
