Sidney, New York

Sidney is a town in Delaware County, New York, United States.

[5] The northern town line, marked by the Susquehanna River, is the border of Otsego County, and the western town boundary is the border of Chenango County.

Interstate 88 runs through the northern side of the town, with access from Exits 9, 10, and 11.

There were 2,987 housing units at an average density of 59.4 per square mile (22.9/km2).

30.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
