Siliguri Government Polytechnic

The college was formed in the year 1995, known as Women's Polytechnic, Siliguri, for promoting female education in West Bengal under the assistance of World Bank Project.

The college was established temporarily in Pradhan Nagar, Siliguri, before permanently shifting to a campus in Dabgram, situated in Subhas Pally, in the year 1998.

The permanent campus was inaugurated by Jyoti Basu, the then Chief Minister of West Bengal.
