Silverhill, Alabama

Silverhill is a town in Baldwin County, Alabama, United States.

Alabama State Route 104 (Silverhill Avenue) runs through the center of the town, connecting Robertsdale to the east with Fairhope to the west.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2), all land.

The racial makeup of the town was 98.05% White, 0.16% Native American, 0.65% Asian, and 1.14% from two or more races.

Silverhill was founded in 1897 by Oscar Johnson, C. O. Carlson and C. A. Valentin of Chicago, Illinois.

[7][8] In 1902, the local general store, People's Supply Company opened;[9][10] and it served as a major hub for the community until the 1980s.
