Simon Pytlick

[1] He made his debut on the Danish national team on 4 November 2021, against Norway at the 2021–22 Golden League Tournament in Trondheim.

[2][3] In 2023 he was part of the Danish team that won the IHF World Men's Handball Championship.

In the leadup to the tournament Simon Pytlick predicted, that he would be primarily a back-up player who could help "patch some holes".

[5] Simon Pytlick started playing handball in the youth ranks of GOG Håndbold in 2012.

Due to his teammate Emil Lærke's injury, he got more playing time in the 2019/2020 season, and won the Talent of the year award.
