Major Sir Mark Vane Milbank, 4th Baronet, KCVO, MC (11 January 1907 – 4 April 1984) was a British Army officer and courtier, who served as Master of the Household from 1954 to 1967.
He was the son of Sir Frederick Richard Milbank, 3rd Baronet and Harriet Anne Dorothy Wilson.
Milbank commissioned into the Coldstream Guards in 1930,[1] and served as the Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Bombay between 1933 and 1938.
[2] He was Comptroller to the Governor General of Canada between 1946 and 1952, before being appointed Deputy Master of the Household.
[3] In 1953 Milbank became Master of the Household and was invested as a Member of the Royal Victorian Order.
