Siya Mdaka

He played for Border Country Districts at the 2004 Under-16 Grant Khomo Week competition before moving to Durban, where he played for Natal at the 2006 Under-18 Academy Week tournament.

In 2010, he moved to Potchefstroom, where he represented local university side NWU Pukke in the Varsity Cup competition in 2010, 2011 and 2012, making twenty appearances in total.

During his spell in Potchefstroom, he also made his first class debut for the Leopards.

He was included in their squad for the 2011 Currie Cup Premier Division competition[2] and made his debut by starting their match against the Blue Bulls at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

After the conclusion of the 2012 Varsity Cup competition, Mdaka returned to the Eastern Cape and joined First Division strugglers Border Bulldogs.
