Skokomish is a census-designated place (CDP) in Mason County, Washington, United States.
The town is the headquarters of the Skokomish Indian Tribe.
As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 616 people, 186 households, and 153 families residing in the CDP.
There were 186 households, out of which 49.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.0% were married couples living together, 21.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.7% were non-families.
12.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 3.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
