Skurup Church

With the arrival of the railway to Skurup in the middle of the 19th century, the population grew and the church was subsequently enlarged.

The church was renovated between 1950 and 1951, when medieval murals were also discovered under layers of whitewash and restored.

In the apse there are additional murals depicting Christ in Majesty and the twelve apostles and other saints.

The pulpit is from 1605 and decorated with reliefs and sculptures depicting the evangelists and Moses.
