Slater's desert skink

Slater's desert skink (Liopholis slateri), also known commonly as the Centralian Floodplains desert-skink, Slater's egernia, and Slater's skink, is a species of lizard in the family Scincidae.

The specific name, slateri, is in honour of Australian herpetologist Kenneth R.

[3] L. slateri is found in Northern Territory and Southern Australia in central Australia.

[2] The preferred natural habitats of L. slateri are forest and shrubland.

[2] Nota bene: A trinomial authority in parentheses indicates that the subspecies was originally described in a genus other than Liopholis.
