Sloan is an unincorporated community located in Clark County, Nevada, 18 miles (29 km) southwest of Las Vegas.

Sloan is renowned for its canyon, petroglyphs, and the George W. Dunaway Army Reserve Center.

The Sloan Canyon visitors center and trailhead to the petroglyphs are accessible from a newer paved road through the Henderson neighborhood of Anthem, east of Interstate 15.
