Smolany Dąb

Smolany Dąb [smɔˈlanɨ ˈdɔmp], is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Krasnopol, within Sejny County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.

[3] It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) south of Krasnopol, 10 km (6 mi) west of Sejny, and 110 km (68 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.

From 1975-1998 the village was administratively governed by the Suwałki Voivodeship In 1827 it was recorded that the population of the village numbered at 16 and 1 home and in 1889 it was numbered at 20 people and 5 homes.
