She was dubbed "Queen of folk music" in both her home[4][3][5] and neighbouring countries,[6][7] and is considered one of the best interpreters of her genre.

She received a dozen of respected awards for her contribution to music arts.

She is a jury member of Serbian noted music competition show, Zvezde Granda.
