Sohrab Goth Town

Sohrab Goth Town[1] (Urdu: سہراب گوٹھ) is a suburban area in the Malir district of Karachi, Pakistan, that previously was a part of Gadap Town until 2011.

[2] It acts as an entry point to Karachi from the rest of Pakistan.

A bridge over the Lyari River connects other areas of Karachi to Sohrab Goth.

[5] Sohrab Goth Town has a total population of 428,000.

Other ethnic-groups include Sindhi, Muhajirs, Punjabis, Kashmiris, Saraikis, Balochs, Memons, etc.
