Sokoleč is a municipality and village in Nymburk District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

[2] Sokoleč is located about 11 kilometres (7 mi) south of Nymburk and 40 km (25 mi) east of Prague.

It lies in a flat landscape of the Central Elbe Table.

[3] There are no railways or major roads passing through the municipality.

The village lies entirely within the Velim railway test circuit.
