Solomon Patrick Mabilo is a South African politician from the Northern Cape who served as the Executive Mayor of the Sol Plaatje Local Municipality from 2018 to 2021.
[1] Mabilo was elected to the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature in April 2009.
Premier Hazel Jenkins appointed him to the post of MEC for Transport, Safety and Liaison.
[5] He soon became an MPL again in February 2018, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of Alvin Botes.
[7] At an October special council meeting, Pule Thabane was elected mayor over Mabilo.
