Sommacampagna

Sommacampagna is a town and comune in the province of Verona, Veneto, northern Italy.

[2] The town was founded during the Ancient Roman period, with the name of Summa Campanea.

[3] In the frazione of Custoza two battles were fought during the Italian Independence Wars: the first in 1848 and the second in 1866.

[6] The town's most famous sagra is called "Antica Fiera di Sommacampagna" and takes place every year during the last weekend of August, usually from Thursday to Tuesday.

The town's main football team is Associazione Calcio Somma.
