While a youth player in Lyn, he initially quit football as a child and would rather hang out and do shenanigans with friends.
[2] He did return to football with a stint in Korsvoll and another in Lyn's boys-16 team,[3] but in the autumn of 2019 his family uprooted and moved to rural Stryn for his father's work.
