Sonia Abrão

Sonia Maria de Souza Abrão (born June 20, 1963[1]) is a Brazilian journalist, television presenter and writer.

Abrão has hosted various shows throughout her career, including Falando Francamente (2002–2004), Sonia e Você (2004–2006) and A Tarde É Sua, which is still on the air since 2006.

In 1991 she debuted as a journalist for SBT's Aqui Agora, retaining her position until 1997, when she was invited to join Domingo Legal as a reporter.

The MP stated that the interviews interfered with ongoing police activity and put the lives of the teenager and those involved in the operation at risk, and asked for a compensation of 1.5 million reais for collective moral damage.
