Soperton, Georgia

Soperton is a city in Treutlen County, Georgia, United States.

[5] The city was named after Benjamin Franklin Soper, a railroad official.

[6] The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Soperton as a town in 1902.

[7] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.3 square miles (8.5 km2), of which 3.2 square miles (8.3 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) (0.61%) is water.

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 2,889 people, 1,088 households, and 699 families residing in the city.
