Sophie Román Haug (born 4 June 1999) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a forward for English Women's Super League club Liverpool and the Norway national team.
[5] She scored her first goal for Liverpool on 12 November 2023 against Tottenham Hotspur, equalizing the game 1-1 in the 66th minute.
[10] She scored her first three senior national team goals in the World Cup qualifier at home against Albania, on 6 September 2022, which ended in a 5–0 victory.
[13] On 30 July, she scored a hat-trick in a 6–0 victory over the Philippines in the last World Cup group stage match, which qualified her country to the knockout phase.
[14] It was the fourth instance of a Norwegaian player scoring a hat-trick at the Women's World Cup and the first since 2007.
