Launched on 3 September 2001, South East Today airs with short programmes and bulletins at varying times.
Freeview viewers in Dartford, Sevenoaks, Gravesend, Crawley, Redhill, and most of East Grinstead receive better television signals from the Crystal Palace transmitter which broadcast London News.
However, those areas are given South East Today on Channel 101 through satellite television such as Freesat as default via the towns' postcodes.
However, viewers in Shoreham, Haywards Heath, and Burgess Hill are covered by South East Today.
