The South Indian Bank Limited (SIB) is a major private-sector bank headquartered at Thrissur in Kerala, India.
As of 31 December 2024, the bank had a network of 955 banking outlets (954 branches and 1 service branch) and 1290 ATMs/CRMs (1159 ATMs and 131 CRMs) spanning 26 states and 4 union territories).

[10] It commenced business on 29 January 1929 at Round South, Thrissur.
SIB was the first scheduled bank in the private sector in Kerala to get the license under Section 22 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 from the RBI on 17 June 1957.
